Messing Around [Berry and Solar]

[Solarstorm]

A pure white she-cat lay in the warm suns rays that shone down from the blue sky, basking herself in the time she had after patrol. Solarstorm's eyes where closed and her breath steady as she lay stretched out on the green grass. She had only recently been named deputy, and so far, things seemed to be going rather well. She was able to set up hunting patrols and border patrols without much problem. Life seemed to be going well, even though there where a few toms with their eyes following on her.

Eaglestar had been away from the camp most of the morning, hunting some prey for the kits and the queens who always seemed to be expecting some piece of mouse to arrive at their paws not that he blamed them. He too would be expecting prey if he had a swollen belly and kits jumping all over him. Kits were very annoying at times and Eaglestar wasn't expecting any for a long time, well unless he felt like doing something very stupid. Smiling to himself he trotted into the camp with the two mice dangling from his Jaw.

It wasn't long before he spotted Solarstorm lying down on the grass taken a few moments to herself. He could hardly blame her, the clan had been busy all day. Eaglestar smirked to himself when he saw her. One thing for sure she was a pretty she-cat, not that it had clouded his judgement for her being deputy. She was quite a character, and had proven herself a lot of times for the clan, who else would he had picked to be his deputy?

Heading over to her, he stopped just infront of her paws casting a shadow over her face. "relaxing?" he said dropping the prey down next to him as he watched her pretty face.

[Solarstorm]

Solarstorm's crystal-electric blue eyes fluttered open at the sound of his voice, and looked up at him, a bit sleepily. "Oh, hello, Eaglestar." She said with a smile and lifted her head. "Yes, I'm just resting a bit." She replied and she curled her tail over her paws neatly. She blinked a bit when the suns rays hit her face, but her eyes adjusted after a moment.

Eaglestar stared down at the she-cat as she fluttered open her perfect clear blue eyes that seemed slightly sleepy, but then she had been dozing in the sun Which was blazing down upon them. Smiling warmly at her he nodded before sitting down on the grass and watching her with his green eyes. "finding being deputy too hard yet?" Eaglestar asked with a hint of teasing in his voice. He was more than sure that Solarstorm was going to make a great leader and deputy, of course she did have most the clan behind her already. They all seemed to be very impressed by this young she-cat already. "or trying to get away from your stalkers?

[Solarstorm]

Solarstorm laughed a bit and smiled at the tom cat. "It can be both. But so far being deputy isn't that hard. Though I suppose it can be a little nerve wracking when I think about it." She replied. There had been some senarios and doubts that ran through her mind. She wasn't sure how she could help lead the clan by Eaglestar's side if she wasn't completely confident in herself.

[Berrycloud]

Eaglestar chucked to himself when he heard her laugh. He always enjoyed making cats laugh even though half the time he got on their nerve. "you're doing fine." Eaglestar said wanting to put the she-cat at ease. "just make sure you believe in yourself and things should be OK, you are still young so don't expect to happen out of nowhere." Eaglestar said smiling slightly hoping to give Solarstorm a boost.

[Solarstorm]

The white she-cat couldn't help but smile at his words, and her tail flicked contently as she lay in the grass with her leader. "Thank you, Eaglestar. I do hope I can help ThunderClan prosper." She said kindly. "Though I hope someone who's half kittypet can really do much for a clan like this..." She thought to herself. Though her expression showed no sign of doubt.

Eaglestar nodded glad to hear his deputy sounding more confident then earlier on. He knew himself that it was going to take her some time to get use to it all, having cats look towards her for decisions but it was something he knew she can do without fail, she was going to make a great leader of ThunderClan when the time comes."well until then let's just relax out here, avoiding all your lovely stalkers. What made you earn some and not me?" Eaglestar joked flicking his tail before nodding at the mouse near by him. "feel free to take one."

[Solarstorm]

Solarstorm wasn't sure how or why she had what seemed like stalkers, but she wasn't very fond of the fact they didn't always leave her alone. Though so far she'd put up with them. "I'm not sure why they follow me." She said with a sigh but smiled. "I just wonder how they stalk prey when they end up stepping on twigs." She joked with a small laugh. The deputy gave a kind smile, and accepted one of the mice offered, though took the smaller one out of respect.

Eaglestar was a Tom, and like most toms could tell when a she-cat is pretty or not and sadly with Solarstorm this was the case. The young single warrior toms have all decided that she was the most beautiful thing on earth, a prize they all wanted as their mate though very few even knew her very well, well they do by the amount of stalking they've done. "why? You really have no idea?" Eaglestar said rolling his eyes at her. "well, that sounds pretty sloppy. Someone is going to have to teach them how to stalk she-cats properly, huh?" Eaglestar said with a sarcastic grin on his face.

[Solarstorm]

Solarstorm purred in amusement with a small laugh, and let her tail swish over the ground in a content manner. "Well, I'm not sure stalking me will do them any good." She said with a smile. She did actually think Eaglestar was rather humorous.

Eaglestar smiled again at the she-cat. She had a lovely purr and laugh, it really didn't surprise him much that she was being stalked not that Eaglestar was planning on stalking her anytime soon - stalking was never the way to get a she-cat but Eaglestar wasn't even sure if he wanted a mate around now, being a leader a lot happens and he would hate to cause his mate's life to go all crazy on her. "well, surely it must. Your live-prey to them, sadly it doesn't seem like they've paid any attention to their mentors." Eaglestar said swishing his tail behind him.

[Solarstorm]

Solarstorm smiled and purred once more in amusement. She had already had those words cross her mind before in the past. "I suppose not. But really they have no reason to be watching me. I mean, I'm not exactly what you would call a dream cat." She replied and little sheepish. The deputy wasn't always very self confident about things like that. She never thought of herself as very pretty or impressive. She only wanted to be a loyal warrior to ThunderClan. She had never pictured herself falling for any tom.

Eaglestar watched Solarstorm speak, she seemed a little upset with these toms stalking her all the time and who could really blame her? Having eyes follow her wherever she went, it must drive her crazy. It would for him. Eaglestar raised his eyebrows high as she spoke. She didn't think she wasn't a pretty she-cat? What on earth was she looking at? Because one thing was for sure she was a pretty she-cat one who actually was quite brave and clever. Any Tom would want her as their mate. "you really think that?" Eaglestar said unimpressed with Solarstorm's dream cat commer. "because if you looked yourself in a pond or lake I'm sure you'll see a beautiful, clever she-cat staring back at you." Eaglestar said smiling warmly at her hoping she may see the light.

Solarstorm blushed a little aat his comment, and the shy nature inside her began to take over. She was flattered by his words though she still wasn't all that confident in herself in the area of any type of romance and such. "You're very kind, Eaglestar. Though looks don't really matter to me." She said with a shy note in her voice.
