Name Fishfang
Gender Male
Age 11 Moons
Clan RiverClan
Rank Warrior
Personality Cheeky with the ability to make others want to rip their fur out. Fishfang is always finding some absurd or stupid reason to get out of duties. He is a player with words and finder of loopholes. Should a cat try to talk to him, he always has a cheeky comment ready. He also acts quite egotistical. Since being made a warrior he has let the entire camp know a thousand times that he is a warrior, and a warrior early, and they should all bow down to his incredibly smart amazingness. He isn't truly annoying or offensive, just basically spends lots of time strutting around camp and earning lots of snorts and eye rolls.
While it is little shown, Fishfang does have a dark side. The abuse of his past can lead him to brood in silence sometimes. He never speaks of it, but that does not mean he never thinks of it when alone. The way he acts now is sort of a cover-up for this, pretending it never happened or he has forgotten it. But then, there is a bit of a dark streak inside us all.
Family Mother; Sundeath Father; Wheatstone Brother; Seedpaw
History Unfortunately, neither Sundeath nor Wheatstone wanted or loved their kits. Wheatstone was a big, aggressive brute of a warrior and Sundeath was so named because of her cold personality that seemed to be able to turn off the sun in sucking happiness out of other cats. Fishkit and Seedkit were often neglected and even abused by their parents. Wheatstone used his claws, Sundeath used her tongue. No other queens were in the nursery at the time to witness it, and the kits were too scared to report to the Clan leader or anything.
Wheatstone and Sundeath also argued viciously with each other. Fishkit tried to forget it, but ended up spending most of his early kithood time sulking in the shadows around camp, trying to be left unseen. He was always wanting to play but had nobody to play with; Seedkit was more timid and quieter than him, and also better-liked.
Then, when Fishkit was about four or five moons old, his father's dead body was brought back to camp. He had been killed in battle, trying to take on six opponents at once. It left a scar, both literally and emotionally, but that marked the beginning of a better time. Sundeath appeared to have deflated, but with just her to deal with, and getting older, the kits were okay. Fishkit started to become more outspoken when not in her presence.
Two moons later, Sundeath finally cracked. Everything she had been holding in came out, and she lost it and went insane. The last anyone saw of her, she was crying and shrieking in equal measure as she ran towards the border. Her two kits became apprentices, and as their new lives began, it was easy to put everything behind them.
Fishpaw adapted quickly, thriving on the new freedom, and slowly, as his apprenticeship accelerated, began the journey into the cheeky, prideful, happy-go-lucky and incredibly annoying young warrior he is now. His mentor was very encouraging, and together they put everything into his training. Fishpaw proved to actually have some intelligence, and he finished his apprenticeship early, at ten moons old. Since then he has been strutting about the camp, making up for everything lost.
