Russetcloud entered the clearing just then, an impressively large fish held in his mouth. He carefully kept his teeth from piercing the fish's scales. He didn't want to be accused of eating before feeding the Clan, of course. He just wanted to show off to his baby sister. His eyes zeroed in on Sunrise immediately, and his step faltered when he spotted Falconshadow sitting with her. He instinctively went to grind his teeth together at the sight of them and instead tasted delicious fish blood.

What was Sunrise doing with him? Didn't she know his reputation as a heartbreaker?! They weren't really sitting all that close, but it was still too close for Russetcloud's liking. So he sped up and barged right in between them, keeping the fish's tail from dragging in the ground. "Hiya Sunrise!" he meowed, ignoring Falconshadow. "Look at this awesome fish I caught! Ain't it huge!" He shook the fish under pretense of showing off it's size, and the tail smacked Falconshadow in the face. 'Ha, take THAT for daring to mess with my baby sister!' he thought.

Falconshadow lept to his paws, eyes widening in surprise as Sunrise's overprotective brother barged in. He flinched slightly, still a bit shell-shocked when the tail slapped him hard in the face, but wasn't too bothered. He had expected the older tom to come rushing over sooner, actually. He certainly wasn't going to give him the satisfaction of showing that he was bothered by his rude actions, despite the fact that he was slightly annoyed, especially since he hadn't been doing anything wrong. He wasn't flirting with the she-cat after all.

So, instead, he cooly and calmly padded back over to stand beside Sunrise, a polite, cheerful smile on his face. He sat down beside her, clearing his thoat slightly. "Great catch, Russetcloud. It must of taken real talent," he complimented politely, dipping his head respectully. "Sunrise and I were just about to go hunting ourselves," he said cheerfully.

[SUNRISE !]

She would have yelped if she could, but she wasn't a dog. Instead, the she-cat simply blinked a few times in surprise as her brother appeared... With a fish? With a soft sigh, Sunrise shook her head. She knew what her brother was trying to do, and it was rather pointless. "Yes, that is an impressive catch, Russetcloud. I'm sure it will do the clan well." Not that Riverclan was starving. But, elders were picky and kits were... Well, they ate anything. The bi-colored she-cat nodded at what Falconshadow said. "Yes, we were. Would you like to join us?" Even if you just got back?

[/i] Orange eyes stared expectantly at her older half-brother. She hoped Falconshadow wouldn't mind. Three could be a crowd at times... But, it was her brother!
