Flamesoul made his way across ShadowClan camp, taking his time. He heard was there was to be heard, saw what there was to be saw and smelt what there was to be smelt. But, despite the fact that he was in a hurry, he was still kinda bouncing down the clearing. Somewhere in the back of his mind, he knew where he was going. But, he wasn't exactly in deep thought at the moment, so he let his paws carry him across the clearing to wherever he planned to go.
He ended up in front of the medicine cat's den smiling to himself. He used to live and work here. The ginger tom wondered if he could find his old apprentice in here, or she out today? Tawnystripe had an apprentice of her own now, so she might be busy. He bent his head into the den and called, "Tawnystripe?"

Tawnystripe was never much of a worrier. Whenever something came along that didn't go her way, she hunkered down and weathered through it. In her own way, she was as strong and resolute as any warrior. The fact that the younger generations of the Clan were scared of her bad temper amused her more than worried her, and more than a few warriors were quite glad that she now had an apprentice they could go to when they had a problem. In knowledge of this, Tawnystripe had tried to cram as much herb knowledge into Smokepaw's brain as she could in their short time together.
That's why whenever Tawnystripe was indeed worried, she tried her best to not show it. Her infallible ways were as well-known as her sharp temper. If she was worried, then you should be downright terrified. When Tawnystripe woke up that morning with a worry as annoying as a buzzing fly, she'd sent Smokepaw out to tend to the burdock root. She needed time to think and sort out her thoughts.
When Flamesoul stuck his head into the medicine den and called for her, Tawnystripe's pelt was ruffled with agitation and her tail was slicing the air behind her. She'd taken to pacing back and forth the entire space of the den, and her eyes flashed angrily at the interruption. "What do you wa-" she started to snap, but then the voice registered as Flamesoul's. A sigh left her before she could stop it. "Oh, it's only you." she grumbled with a roll of the eyes. "If you want some comfrey for your old joints, you know where to get it." She waved her tail towards the herb store and turned her back on her former mentor. "Help yourself, old tom."

"Do you really think that's why I came over here?" Flamesoul meowed, "Do you not want to see your old mentor?" Flamesoul padded towards the herb store, but, instead of going there, he stopped next to Tawnystripe. "Am I detecting an even-more grumpy-then-usual-ness?" He purred playfully. "You do know that makes you get older much to quickly." He used his shoulder to give the Medicine Cat beside him a playful shove.
