That day she had tossed and turned in her sleep. Starclan had spoke to her but not something she particularly wanted to know of. It was a omen of something bad that was going to happen, how many times did windclan have to suffer before it was over?Shaking her head she sighs, shaking moss from her pelt. They needed more prey and moss.
Both of them would need to be collected right away as it seemed they needed it just in case. Padding out from brambles surrounding the apprentice den her amber eyes sought out a certain cat. Her brother Earthpaw always wanted to help her with searching for the items. But if he was out on patrol she would have to settle with someone else.
Padding over to the freshkill pile she took a sniff of the contents, She stepped back a pace when her nose touched a squirrel. An awful smell was coming off of it, Using her paws she dragged it out. Finding the source of the problem her lip curled. Maggots had infested the squirrel. Who ever brought it in would get sick within moments. Looking around she hissed" Mouse Dung!!!!"Her tone was low as she spotted the other cats eating outside of their den. She needed someone to check who brought it in as fast as possible.
Pushing the squirrel a little ways away from the pile she lashed her tail. She no doubt would need to wash her paws after disposing of the maggoty prey.Time was ticking away as Sunhigh approached and she still had to fetch the prey and moss. She wasn't mouse-brained enough to not be wary of what lurked in the shadows of the moors.
There was still the threat of Bloodclan and Shadowclan, Both clans would be enough to take them out one by one. A shudder rippled through her pelt at the thought of it. Would Thunderclan or Riverclan help them if the two clans attacked? There had to be four clans in the forest excluding Bloodclan. The crowfood eating good for nothing cats. They didn't deserve to take Windclan's place. She won't let it happen if its the last thing she did.
